The reason why Circe’s parents adopted this little cat was actually because of their dog Tessa! During a walk, Circe’s mother heard a faint meowing sound, but could never find the source. Finally, they let Tessa search freely and successfully found a four-week-old kitten named Circe in the bushes. At that time, Circe’s eyes were adhered due to infection and apparently no one cared for her.
Although it was initially planned to send Circe back to the shelter, her parents soon decided to keep her. After a week of care, Circe’s eyes healed and she showed a lively personality – she loved playing with water, stealing dog food and was always by Tessa’s side. Nowadays, she even has her own “24-hour Feline Surveillance” window sill sign.
Besides Tessa, Circe has gradually integrated into the other pets of the family: the three-legged cat Nacho has changed from being rejected to playmates, and the shy Freya has also become lively. Tessa takes care of Circe like a mother, and the three cats often groom the dogs.
