A blind cat’s owner was left speechless after receiving a heartfelt thank-you following a simple rescue.
In a video posted on May 8 by TikTok user @littlehammyham, the cat nervously paced back and forth on a windowsill. Because she couldn’t see, the jump down seemed too big and scary. Instead of jumping, the cat “cried for help,” waiting for her owner to come to her rescue.
The owner gently approached, held out her hand for the cat to sniff, then carefully picked her up and placed her safely on the ground. After a brief pause to adjust to her surroundings, the cat turned to her owner, stretched her front paws on her leg, and lifted her head up. This gesture, which experts say is a sign of deep affection, was the cat’s special way of saying thank you.

Some viewers suggested adding a ramp or ladder for the cat. The owner replied that she works from home and that her cat “knows how to get down, she just likes to be needy sometimes.”
