Rescued as a tiny kitten by a housekeeper from a parking lot, Conan has since grown into an indispensable member of the mall’s security team. The video showcasing Conan’s daily activities, shared on Instagram by @almost.co and @asianews.co, has quickly gone viral, amassing over 127,000 views.
In the footage, Conan is seen diligently checking bags and even warmly greeting pets. His presence has become a symbol of comfort and security for both mall visitors and staff. One security guard expressed, “When Conan is not around, I’m not motivated to do my work… he takes away my stress.”
Conan’s role as “SG Conan” (Security Guard Conan) follows in the footsteps of Mingming, the original viral cat of Megaworld Corporate Center, who passed away last June.
