A couple shopping for concrete at a Menards store ended up rescuing a tiny kitten trapped inside shrink-wrapped building materials—an unexpected twist that has since gone viral on TikTok.
The video, posted on April 28 by TikTok user @shelbyelko, shows the couple browsing through pallets of concrete during a home renovation supply run. As they calculated how much they needed, a faint meow caught their attention. The man in the video began peeling back the plastic wrap around one pallet and discovered a black and white kitten hidden inside.
“We were standing there doing the math on how much concrete we needed and heard a faint meow,” the video caption reads. “We went searching and I saw a tiny movement in the shrink wrap… This poor baby.”
