Recently, a woman named Shirley found a hungry stray cat in a shopping center and decided to take it home. This ginger-yellow cat named Coral is not only young but also pregnant. Shirley prepared a comfortable environment for it. Soon after, Coral gave birth to a litter of healthy kittens smoothly.
Meanwhile, Shirley saw on social media a kitten named Wonky suffering from “swimming syndrome” and in urgent need of help. This disease causes abnormal development of its legs and difficulty in movement. Although there were already many cats at home, Shirley still decided to adopt Wonky and gave it special care based on her experience.
Surprisingly, the coral quickly accepted Wonky and licked and cared for it as if it were its own child. Wonky even began to suck the coral, and the coral fully accepted this “adopted child”. The warm interaction between the two moved Shirley deeply.
Shirley said that taking care of animals in need is her beloved career, and the story of Coral and Wonky is exactly the reason why she persists. Although Wonky has difficulty moving around, it happily adapted to its new home and got along harmoniously with coral and other cats, demonstrating selfless love among animals.
