Celebrity chef Alton Brown has a new sous chef in his kitchen—an adorable kitten named Stir-Fry. The Iron Chef Gauntlet host recently adopted the feline after discovering him at his office, and the pair have already bonded, as seen in playful Instagram posts.
“Remember those kittens we found at the office? Apparently I’ve been claimed,” Brown captioned a photo of himself nose-to-nose with the tiny newcomer.
The kitten’s name was inspired by his favorite spot in Brown’s kitchen: a frying pan. “So, due to his love of the wok, I’ve decided to name him ‘Stir-Fry,'” Brown explained in a follow-up post.
Brown’s daughter, Zoey, welcomed the newest family member with a charming sketch depicting Stir-Fry wielding chopsticks. But the kitten isn’t just a kitchen companion—he’s also making mischief elsewhere. Another photo shows him pawing at bookshelves, with Brown joking, “Stir-Fry hittin’ the books.”
The furry addition adds a dash of whimsy to Brown’s culinary world, proving even top chefs have room for a playful sidekick.
