STOCKPORT, England – Pet food subscription company The Cool Cat Club has moved into a newly refurbished warehouse in Stockport, drawn by the area’s strong transport links and strategic location.
The Manchester-based business has leased a 10,755 sq ft unit at Lawnhurst Trading Estate, off Bird Hall Lane in Cheadle. The warehouse is owned by logistics real estate specialist Logicor, which recently completed a full refurbishment of the space. Upgrades include energy-efficient LED lighting and an air-source heating system, aimed at improving the site’s sustainability.
The Cool Cat Club delivers monthly cat food subscriptions across the UK. The company plans to use Stockport’s central location to serve key cities such as Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, and London — all reachable within four hours. This positions the firm to meet the needs of the 29% of UK households that own a cat.
James Carney, UK director of asset management at Logicor, said the move highlights how local businesses can benefit from Logicor’s high-quality and strategically located warehouse facilities.
Paul Johnson, co-founder of The Cool Cat Club, said easy access to transport links was essential for the company. “The refurbished site met all our needs and allows us to grow our customer base and expand our range of premium pet products,” he said.
