Actor Mark Ruffalo has a soft spot for cats—and his latest furry companion, a playful gray tabby named Biscotti, is stealing the spotlight.
The 52-year-old Avengers star shared an endearing video on social media Monday, showing him bonding with the tiny kitten. In the clip, Ruffalo lies on the floor, coaxing Biscotti as the feline rolls around.
“Spending quality time with one of my new friends, Biscotti,” he captioned the post, adding a cat emoji. While Ruffalo didn’t confirm whether he officially adopted the kitten, his affection for cats is no secret among fans.
This isn’t the first time Ruffalo has showcased his love for his pets. In 2025, he celebrated #NationalPetDay with a cozy snapshot of himself cuddling his cat, Felix. “Every day is #NationalPetDay in our household,” he wrote at the time.
Later that year, he honored #InternationalCatDay by posting a photo of his other cat, Inky, playfully “helping” him rehearse lines for his HBO series I Know This Much Is True.
Family First: Ruffalo on Parenthood and Work-Life Balance
Beyond his role as a devoted cat dad, Ruffalo is a father of three—son Keen, 19, and daughters Bella, 15, and Odette, 12—whom he shares with wife Sunrise Coigney.
In a November interview with PEOPLE, the Oscar-nominated actor opened up about the challenges of juggling Hollywood demands with family life. “It’s intense. The times when my wife is gone and I’ve had to take care of everything… the laundry alone is enough to destroy you,” he joked.
He praised Coigney for managing much of the household responsibilities, calling her “just a hero.” Ruffalo also reflected on the joys of fatherhood, cherishing unexpected heart-to-heart moments with his kids.
“I like those times when you’re just chugging along, and then suddenly, your kids open up to you,” he said. “They’re so engaged in the world—way more savvy than I was at their age.”
From Superhero Roles to Super Dad
While Ruffalo is best known for playing the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his off-screen life revolves around family, pets, and the occasional 500 push-ups (a regimen he once followed for his HBO role).
Whether he’s sharing the screen with superheroes or snuggling with Biscotti, Ruffalo’s fans love seeing his softer side—one paw, or push-up, at a time.
