MINNEAPOLIS — VICTOR Pet Food, a brand under Mid America Pet Food, has donated 25,000 pounds of dog and cat food to support pet owners in need. The donation was delivered to the Pet Food Shelf at The Bond Between’s Resource Center, the largest pet food bank in Minneapolis.
This contribution is expected to help feed over 1,000 pets for an entire month.
“Our goal is to support pet families and strengthen the bond between people and their pets,” said Jeff Caswell, CEO of Mid America Pet Food. “We’re proud to work with organizations like The Bond Between that share our mission.”
The Pet Food Shelf operates three days a week and allows local residents to shop once a month for food for up to four pets. The program is a vital support for families facing financial hardship.
A spokesperson for The Bond Between expressed appreciation for the donation. “Thanks to VICTOR Pet Food, thousands of pets in Minneapolis will have meals this month. We believe no one should have to choose between feeding themselves or their pets.”
