Cotswold RAW, a raw pet food supplier, has been officially certified by UK Pet Food under its industry-leading food safety scheme.
UK Pet Food is a national organization focused on improving the quality and safety of pet nutrition. It also offers guidance on pet health and wellbeing. Its Raw Standard Scheme sets the highest standards for raw pet food safety. The scheme was developed in partnership with KIWA, a respected certification body in the agri-food sector, as well as the UK’s Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
The certification confirms that Cotswold RAW meets strict safety and hygiene standards across its entire production process — from sourcing ingredients to packaging the final product.
“This certification is built on a comprehensive set of standards,” said UK Pet Food CEO Michael Bellingham. “It covers everything from selecting raw materials to producing safe food for pets.”
Cotswold RAW offers a wide range of raw pet food, including options for dogs and cats. Their products include specialized meals for puppies, working dogs, and older pets, as well as raw bones, broths, treats, and supplements.
