Cat George has a special habit – when he feels lonely, he “sings”, and his meowing sounds like saying “Sometimes I’m alone”. At first, George’s singing mostly occurred at night or when he was alone at home. The owner guessed that he might not have fully adapted to the new home yet. Later, after the death of the Shiba Inu Kuma at home, George’s singing became more frequent, as if he were lonely due to the loss of his companion.
George’s adoption story is related to Kuma. At first, the owner decided to adopt a cat because Kuma needed company. Although George was shy at first, he eventually integrated into the family. After Kuma’s death, the owner waited patiently for a year before choosing a new companion for George – Scotty, who was one year old. Scotty also cried at first because she wasn’t used to it, but within less than a week, the two cats became inseparable good friends and often played and frolic together.
Nowadays, George is no longer alone, and the master is also relieved to see that they have established a deep friendship.
