When a volunteer arrived to feed a feral cat colony, she noticed something unusual—a brown tabby who wasn’t like the others. While the rest kept their distance, this cat approached fearlessly, rubbing against her legs and begging for affection.
“It was clear she didn’t belong there,” said Aimee, president of Catz 4 Life, a rescue organization. “She was too friendly to be left on the streets.”
The Good Samaritan took the cat—now named Lulu—to a vet, where no microchip was found. With no owner coming forward, Lulu was placed in foster care with Laura, a volunteer for Catz 4 Life.
A Cat Who Loves Like No Other
From the moment she stepped inside, Lulu made herself at home. She shadowed Laura everywhere, curling into her lap with relentless purrs and “making biscuits” with her paws.
“She’s a total love bug,” Laura told Love Meow. “If you have a lap, she’ll claim it. She nuzzles for kisses and even hugs me while we sleep.”
Unlike typical strays, Lulu has no interest in hiding. She thrives on human touch, nudging for more pets and placing her paw on Laura’s hand as if to say, Don’t stop.
A One-and-Only Kind of Cat
Though Lulu enjoys toys—especially her fish—her greatest joy is being close to her people. Attempts to introduce her to other cats revealed her true preference: she wants to be someone’s sole companion.
“She’s protective—she doesn’t like sharing attention,” Laura explained. “She’d thrive in a home where she can be the center of love.”
Ready for a Forever Lap
Now safe indoors, Lulu spends her days cuddling and waiting for the perfect family. “She’s the definition of a loyal companion,” said Aimee. “Whoever adopts her will get endless purrs and devotion.”
