Rescued by the Chris Griffey Memorial Feline Foundation, Batty arrived as a tiny but determined foster with an unmistakable feature—a cleft nose that gives her a permanently astonished expression. Though her condition is purely cosmetic and doesn’t affect her breathing, it only amplifies her charm.
A Fighter from the Start
From day one, Batty showed an unshakable will to thrive. Foster mom Kimberly told Love Meow that despite her small size, the kitten eagerly learned to eat from a dish, quickly graduating to devouring meals with gusto. Her healthy appetite helped her grow stronger, and soon, she was tearing through the house with boundless energy.
Pocket-Sized Cuddles and Playful Mischief
Batty loves staying close to her humans, often nestling in pockets while they work. With her round, fluffy body and tiny legs, she shuffles around like a joyful furball. “She looks like a little ball when she walks,” Kimberly said. “She adores playing with other kittens, watching Bird TV on YouTube, and has the most glorious whiskers.”
Her expressive face and larger-than-life attitude make her the ringleader of her foster siblings. Whether tumbling through the living room, sneaking into the bathroom to investigate the tub, or launching into impromptu zoomies, Batty ensures there’s never a dull moment.
Fearless and Affectionate
Despite her playful chaos, Batty melts into a snuggly companion when she tires out. “She’s incredibly affectionate—loves being held, lying on you, and rolling over for belly rubs,” Kimberly shared. Her favorite naptime spot? Curled up on her foster mom, soaking in gentle pets and the rhythm of a heartbeat.
Batty’s boldness extends beyond the home. During a recent car ride, she demanded attention through a drive-thru window, charming staff as if ordering her own “pup cup” treat. Now in her boisterous kitten phase, she zooms around at lightning speed, pausing only to deploy her signature surprised face—a surefire way to get whatever she wants.
After a challenging start, Batty is living her best life: fearless, adored, and cuddled on her own terms.
