TAMPA, Fla. — Tom Brady’s children are embracing life with their two new Siamese mix kittens, and they’re giving fans a glimpse into their playful bond.
The retired NFL quarterback’s 10-year-old daughter, Vivian Lake, took to her father’s Instagram on Monday, posting candid snapshots of the feline duo. In one playful shot, a kitten named Poke dips its head into a glass of water, accompanied by the caption: “Poke’ is my name — Drinking out of Vivi’s water is my game.”
A second photo, shared on Brady’s Instagram Story, showed one of the kittens curled up asleep. Vivian cheekily identified herself as the photographer, writing: “Nap time!!! (Btw this is Vivi 🙂 on Dad’s phone).”
The kittens joined the family in mid-February after Vivian successfully campaigned for their adoption. Brady, 45, humorously acknowledged his daughter’s persuasion in a previous post, captioning a video of the kittens play-fighting: “This is what my mornings are like now.” He also gave a nod to former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Logan Ryan and his wife, Ashley Bragg Ryan, for their role in the adoption process.
The cats came from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, where Brady and his children—Vivian, 13-year-old son Benjamin Rein, and 15-year-old son John “Jack” Edward—volunteered during his final NFL season.
Regan Blessinger of the Humane Society told PEOPLE that Vivian had formed an instant connection with the Siamese mixes while volunteering. “Vivian was drawn to the kittens, so it wasn’t surprising that Tom reached out to adopt,” Blessinger said. “They are the perfect family for these two adorable kittens!”
Brady shares Vivian and Benjamin with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, and Jack with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion has previously been recognized for his quiet philanthropy, including volunteering at the shelter to support its mission—proving that his off-field efforts are just as impactful as his legendary career.
