HEDMARK, Norway — While many cats prefer cozy naps by the fire, Jesper—a fearless feline from Hedmark, Norway—embraces the snowy season with playful enthusiasm.
The adventurous cat has gained internet fame for his unique winter antics, including “skiing” on a leash alongside his owner. A video capturing his exploits shows Jesper darting through the snow, proving that not all cats despise the cold. His spirited outdoor adventures have earned him a devoted following, with over 12,000 fans on Facebook.
Born in August 2013 as one of five siblings, Jesper is described on his Facebook page as “inquisitive, playful, and always in a good mood.” His owners began training him at just three months old, teaching him to accompany them on ski trips and even swim in warmer weather.
Despite his adventurous streak, Jesper still enjoys typical feline comforts—snuggling in drawers or curling up in an IKEA bag. A lighthearted post on his page, translated from Norwegian, jokes, “They say I have to stop snoring, but I can snore as much as I want in my own flat!”
