The couple introduced their newest family member in a heartwarming Instagram post, sharing the kitten’s journey from illness to health.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have welcomed a furry addition to their family—a rescued kitten named Corn Shelton.
Stefani, 54, shared an adorable Instagram video documenting the kitten’s transformation after he showed up at their home in poor health. The No Doubt singer revealed that with “a lot of love + nurturing,” the once-sick stray has grown into a healthy, playful cat.
“This is Corn Shelton the day he showed up to our home, he was hardly alive + so sick, but now he’s a healthy kitten,” Stefani captioned the post, set to Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather.” She added, “We’re so grateful that he’s a part of our family.”
The video montage included clips of the tiny feline wrapped in a blanket on Stefani’s lap and exploring their porch, with Shelton, 48, joking, “This one is doing incredible, getting fat!”
Corn Shelton made his television debut earlier in the week, appearing on the Season 26 premiere of The Voice (Sept. 23) when Stefani brought him onstage during her return as a coach.
While Stefani doesn’t frequently post about her pets, she and Shelton are known to have another cat, two dogs (Betty and Ginger), and farm animals on their Oklahoma ranch. In April 2023, the singer shared that their cat had given birth to six kittens, calling the experience “incredible.”
From Hollywood to Farm Life
Since marrying Shelton, Stefani has fully embraced country living—even getting her own tractor.
“Gwen has an incredible sense for planting things,” Shelton told NYLON Print in April. “She concentrates more on patches here and there and ends up farming things a little better than I do.”
The couple’s blended family includes Stefani’s three sons—Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10—from her previous marriage to Gavin Rossdale, 58.
