The staff of Gravity Rock Climbing Gym in the United States recently encountered a “domineering” regular customer – a stray cat named Bety. Not only did she freely enter and exit the gym, but she also selectively accepted human touches and even occupied the front desk computers, preventing the staff from registering customers. Eventually, she left angrily and sat at the counter sulking. After this funny incident was captured on camera, Bety instead became a star at the gym, and many customers came especially to visit her.
Bety was originally a stray cat that sneeped into the rock climbing gym at night. Despite the staff providing her with a comfortable bed and food, she still maintained a cold and distant attitude, being only close to some adults who fed her and keeping a respectful distance from children and dogs. She would even steal food from human hands or actively act coquettish for snacks.
The most classic “incident of fame” occurred at the front desk one day: Bety lay on her laptop, ignored the queuing customers, and grabbed and shouted at the staff who tried to move her away. In the end, although she “gave in”, she sat at the counter in a regal manner to demonstrate. Unexpectedly, this farce made Bety’s popularity soar, and customers flocked here just to catch a glimpse of this “cat master of the rock climbing gym”.
