CLIFTON, NJ – For months, Logan, a spirited black-and-white cat at Clifton Animal Shelter, has been winning hearts with his playful personality and eagerness to “assist” staff and visitors alike.
From Stray to Shelter Star
Found abandoned in an apartment complex—likely left behind when his previous owner moved—Logan quickly adapted to shelter life, revealing a sweet and sociable demeanor.
“He has striking black markings, huge green eyes, and a flair for the dramatic,” shelter staff shared. Described as energetic and curious, Logan stretches, twists, and strikes poses to catch attention.
A Social Butterfly
Logan thrives on interaction, eagerly greeting visitors by rolling onto his back and gazing up with pleading eyes. “He runs to the front of his kennel, begging for pets,” staff noted. When allowed to roam, he “helps” with chores—supervising tasks, testing chair durability, and offering unexpected head-butts for morale.
His antics don’t stop there. If a faucet drips, he inspects it like a water feature. If a computer acts up, he sits on the keyboard—whether it fixes the problem or crashes the system.
A Goofball with Heart
Though playful, Logan has a soft side. He adores treats, stopping mid-activity at the sound of a crinkling bag. He also enjoys snuggling, chasing toys, and exploring every corner of the shelter.
“After six months here, he’s ready for a home,” staff said. “He’s not just a cat—he’s a professional goofball with endless love to give.”
For those seeking a lively yet affectionate companion, Logan awaits his perfect match at Clifton Animal Shelter.
