When a couple moved into their new home at the end of summer, they met a stray cat named Patches. This printed cloth cat initially just wandered outside the door. But as winter approached, the couple gradually won her trust with food and care, and eventually brought her indoors. After being injured once, the veterinarian found a microchip in Patches’ body, revealing that she had once been a wild cat and was rescued when she was young. Although they couldn’t get in touch with their former owner, the couple decided to give her a permanent home.
After adapting to indoor life, Patches demonstrated a unique personality. When the hostess Jen began to practice yoga, Patches actually imitated her movements and became her “yoga companion”. Jen joked that Patches made exercise fun and even like her “personal trainer”. In addition to yoga, Patches also calls himself a “night guard”, patrolling the cat climbing frame every early morning and not “leaving work” until the morning.
The arrival of Patches has brought about a huge change to the couple’s life. Jen sighed that during the pandemic, Patches gave them goals and endless joy. This once stray cat has now become a source of joy for the family, healing their hearts with her naughtiness and deep affection.
Today, Patches has been fully integrated into the family, and her story has become a symbol of hope and transformation. The couple are grateful for this connection and look forward to spending more warm and cozy times with this “furry yoga master”.
