Polish cat food producer 3coty has expanded its product line and is preparing to enter several new export markets.
Agnieszka Sobczyńska, co-founder of 3coty, told Petfoodindustry.com that the company recently launched three new products designed for senior and aging cats. The company aims to offer food for all life stages, from kittens to older cats.
“We are preparing to introduce new products in our care line,” Sobczyńska said. “Many customers ask about food for cats with kidney disease. We are working on a product suitable for cats undergoing veterinary treatment.”
According to 3coty, kidney problems are common in older cats worldwide. After obesity and diabetes, kidney disease is one of the most frequent health issues in cats. Owners want high-quality food to support their aging pets.
To meet this demand, 3coty is launching a new product called number 53: Chicken + Duck Kidney Care.
The company describes its “superpremium” monoprotein and duoprotein cat food as ideal for cats with diabetes and allergies.
With 100% meat content and balanced ingredients, 3coty’s food can be given to cats with digestive sensitivities, food allergies, diabetes, and as a substitute for BARF (biologically appropriate raw food), the company says.
While European markets such as Finland, Norway, Poland, Italy, and France remain key for 3coty, the company is actively pursuing expansion into new markets abroad.
Marcin Kindler, co-founder of 3coty, told Petfoodindustry.com that the company is among the first Polish pet food producers to secure a license for sales in China.
“We are working to find a partner to distribute our cat food in China,” Kindler said. “We are also planning to enter other markets like the United Arab Emirates.”
3coty specializes in cat food made entirely from poultry meat, produced at its factory in Pruszków, central Poland.
