Heather Spencer from Boise, Idaho, met Winky, who suffered from dwarfism, while foster a litter of kittens. Although Winky faced health challenges such as breathing problems, eye leakage and chronic constipation, her condition gradually improved under Heather’s meticulous care and the help of a veterinarian.
Winky is petite in size, with a large head proportion and short limbs, but her personality and vitality remain undiminished. She likes playing, snuggling up to her owner and enjoying abdominal massages. The initial plan was to find an adoptive family for Winky, but Heather and her husband eventually decided to adopt her and let her live with other cats.
Nowadays, Winky has become a minor star on social media, spreading love and hope through her story and proving that animals with special needs can also have a happy life.
