Spike is a distinctive cat. It doesn’t make the typical meowing sound but rather a hissing sound. The owner explained that the veterinarian said this might be because it left its mother too early and failed to learn to make sounds correctly. Twelve-year-old Spike is particularly close to its male owner. He is often woken up in the middle of the night, while the female owner likes to “spoil” it with hugs and kisses.
Spike lives with another cat, Dru. Although it merely “tolerates” Dru, Dru is full of admiration for it and often tries to snuggle up to it. The interaction between the two cats brought countless warm moments to their owners. The owner admitted that she had been struggling with mental health issues for a long time, and the company of Spike and Dru gave her the motivation and happiness to get up every day.
These two cats are not only pets, but also her family and emotional support. Spike’s unique “silent meow meow” and Dru’s persistent cuddle jointly weave a home full of love and laughter, demonstrating the deep emotional bond between humans and pets.
