DAILLY, South Ayrshire — A married couple has received planning approval to build a new cattery next to their home in the Ayrshire countryside.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Kennedy submitted the proposal for a 14-pen boarding cattery on their property, ‘Woodside,’ near Kilgrammie, just outside the village of Dailly. The application, prepared by Mauchline-based MG Architectural Services, includes the construction of the pens along with related works.
South Ayrshire Council has now approved the plans.
A design and access statement included in the application described the property as a smallholding. It noted that the Kennedys have lived at Woodside with their young family since purchasing the site in October 2015. Over the years, the couple has invested in modernizing and improving the home.
The cattery will be accessible via the existing shared access road off the C44.
