Ever wished you could bottle the cozy, comforting smell of a kitten? Fragrance brand Demeter is betting on it. Known for its unconventional scents—from fresh dirt to the aroma of paperback books—the company has now launched Kitten Fur, a fragrance designed to evoke the warm, fuzzy scent of a kitten’s neck.
“After 15 years of development, Demeter has finally captured the olfactory essence of that perfect spot behind a kitten’s ears—a blend of warmth, comfort, and pure feline charm,” the company announced on its website.
Priced at just $6, the fragrance comes in various forms, including sprays, lotions, shower gels, and massage oils. Demeter suggests wearers can “lure dates, impress friends, and maybe even baffle their own pets” with the whimsical scent.
This isn’t the only feline-inspired product hitting the market. A Japanese beauty brand recently debuted a lip gloss that promises the sensation of kissing a cat’s cold nose—proving that the obsession with all things kitty is far from over.
With cat-themed beauty products on the rise, it seems our routines might soon be less about glamour and more about embracing our inner feline. And honestly? We’re not mad about it.
