Jennifer Garner has embraced a new social media trend with her ragdoll cat, Moose, leaving fans both impressed by the cat‘s patience and concerned about the actress’s hygiene practices.
The video, shared to Instagram late on Monday, April 14, featured Garner following the latest viral TikTok challenge set to an instrumental cover of Passenger’s “Let Her Go.” It began with the actress holding her hot pink phone in her mouth while she cradled Moose in her arms, positioning the camera toward the floor.
As she attempted the popular TikTok move—spinning in a circle with her cat dangling from her hands—Garner struggled to keep her pet in frame. Laughing, she mumbled, “I don’t see him,” before calling out, “Moose!” as she adjusted the angle to bring his head into view.
Despite the seemingly uncomfortable position, Moose appeared completely unfazed. Garner couldn’t help but laugh, noting, “He doesn’t care,” while still balancing the phone between her teeth.
Fans were quick to comment on the cat’s surprising calmness. One user remarked, “He is unfazed!” while another added, “That is one patient Moose.” Many fans also found humor in the situation, with one user picturing the moment as “Jen: Moose:” and added a laughing emoji.
However, not all reactions were positive. Some fans expressed concern for both Moose and Garner. “YOU’RE GETTING YOUR KITTY DIZZY!” one user exclaimed, while another asked, “Did you at least disinfect the phone before doing that??”
Despite the mixed reactions, many fans gave Garner high marks for her attempt, with one saying she “nailed it” and even offering “extra points for muffled giggles.”
While Moose may have been the star of the show, it seems fans are still debating the appropriate balance of hygiene and viral trends.
