This Halloween, TEMPTATIONS™ is embracing the season’s spooky spirit by imagining what cats might do if they were the size of their wild cousins. To keep those playful “predators” satisfied, the brand has released a limited-edition treat: TEMPTATIONS MixUps Tasty Human in chicken, liver, and beef flavors.
Designed with humor and a nod to cats’ mysterious nature, the new treats aim to feed the “big cat energy” many pet owners see in their feline friends. The treats are part of a seasonal campaign urging owners to treat their cats before their cats “treat themselves” to their humans.
To support the product, the brand partnered with creative agency adam&eveDDB London to produce two eerie ads. In the videos, cats watch their owners—one in bed and one in a bathtub—while whispering thoughts hinting at their inner lion. The solution? The owner offers TEMPTATIONS Tasty Human treats to tame their furry companion’s “wild” instincts.
“Every cat owner knows their pet can be unpredictable,” said Craig Neely, Vice President of Marketing at Mars Petcare. “And when you remember cats share DNA with lions and tigers, those spooky stares become a little more intense. That idea inspired this fun, Halloween-themed product.”The limited-edition treats contain fewer than two calories each and combine crunchy and soft textures.
