Recently, a special “violent assault on police officers” case was handled by the Khlong Tan Police Station in Bangkok, Thailand. A cat named Nub Tang continuously attacked several police officers after being taken to the police station and was “arrested” by the police as a formality.
A kind – hearted citizen brought the lost cat to the police station. In the unfamiliar environment, Nub Tang became anxious and restless, suddenly showing a fierce side and scratching the police officers present with its claws. The police officers then initiated the law – enforcement process, taking a standard mugshot of the cat, collecting its paw – print fingerprint, and asking it to “sign” the “verbal statement”. In the mugshot, Nub Tang stared with wide eyes, looking very unruly. The police humorously announced that the urine test found that the suspect contained catnip, actually using this to remind pet owners to take care of their pets.
After Nub Tang’s mugshot went viral, its owner quickly arrived at the police station to claim it. Before leaving, the owner was required to sign a “Pet Management Liability Letter” to ensure that similar incidents would not happen again.
