Rambo is a kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia. It moves unsteadily but is full of vitality. Its arrival unexpectedly changed the lives of its owners, teaching them patience and unconditional love.
Rambo’s mother is a hairstylist. She first got to know this kitten when a client temporarily placed it in care. After the client found the abandoned Rambo on the farm, they chose to rescue him because the shelter planned to euthanize him. Although it was only temporary care, Rambo’s mother was soon moved by its tenacity. After the foster care failed and the need for surgery, she and her husband decided to formally adopt it.
Although Rambo has difficulty moving around, it has an independent and cheerful personality and even “leads” the dog companions in the family. The owner said that its disability did not affect the quality of life; instead, it made the family more complete. They hope to encourage people to accept disabled pets through Rambo’s story and emphasize that these animals can also bring love and joy.
If it weren’t for Rambo, we wouldn’t be who we are today. Rambo’s mother said.
