When the stray cat Chmurka was rescued, it had to undergo surgery due to severe ear infections, dental problems and lip inflammation, losing its ears, lips and all its teeth. Despite its unique appearance, this strong cat gradually recovered in the foster home and demonstrated a tenacious personality.
At first, Chmurka was taken to a quieter family for foster care because she couldn’t adapt to the cat environment. The foster mother found that she was passionate about food and gradually learned to play and accept care. Eventually, she decided to formally adopt her. Although Chmurka is petite and disabled, she is full of confidence and even “rules” over the other pets in the family.
Chmurka’s story demonstrates the resilience of disabled animals. Her mother called on the public to pay attention to the adoption of disabled pets, emphasizing that they are equally worthy of love, but medical and financial preparations need to be made. For those who cannot afford medical expenses, boarding disabled cats is also a good way to help them.
Nowadays, Chmurka is enjoying a happy retirement life, proving with her unique charm that disability does not prevent them from being an indispensable member of the family.
